Andrew Billings

Andrew Billings is on the younger side of the players we have already mentioned. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals and spent two years with them before signing with the Cleveland Browns in 2019 and playing last season with them.

His last contract with Cleveland was worth 1-year, $1.5 million. That is a price that the Saints can get behind. It would even be a decreased salary from what Rankins is even making on his current contract, not to mention the millions it would save with a renewed contract.

Billings recorded 35 tackles, one sack, and four hits on the quarterback in 14 starts with the Cleveland Browns last season. However, instead of looking at the stats, look at the potential. Sean Payton and his staff could do wonders with this young moldable kid.

Next. 5 players the Saints could sign with Warford's savings. dark

Don’t get me wrong, Sheldon Rankins is probably one of the top ten defensive tackles in the NFL, but the Saints, like always, have decisions that they have to make regarding personnel. This decision, while a hard one, will be necessary.
