Number Two: Drew Brees Will Win MVP

Let’s take a look at the career of Drew Brees very briefly; Brees has attended 13 Pro Bowls, has been a First-Team All-Pro once, a Second-Team All-Pro four times, the NFL Offensive Player of the Year twice, a seven-time NFL passing yardage leader, a four-time NFL passing touchdowns leader, and a record holder of all the major passing statistics, basically.

The only thing missing from Drew Brees’ trophy case is an NFL MVP award.

I think Drew Brees not only has the potential to win the MVP award, but I believe the Saints did a great job of building around Brees for what is likely is final season to give him all the tools necessary for success.

The Saints brought in veteran wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to help team up with Michael Thomas. Drew Brees will also get to face off against other phenomenal quarterbacks including Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Carson Wentz, and Patrick Mahomes.

If Brees can put on a show in those tough battles, the league is sure to take notice.
