Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals is a team that is going through sort of the same thing the Saints are right now. Joe Mixon is threatening to hold out if he doesn’t get a new contract and the Bengals aren’t sure if they want to pay that new contract.

I can guarantee you one thing though, Alvin Kamara’s contract will be worth more than Joe Mixon’s will be. This will benefit both teams because the Saints could use a smaller contract of Mixon without an extreme drop in performance.

On the other side, the Bengals can justify paying the money to Kamara because of his talent. There is no doubt that Kamara is better than Mixon, but their contract price makes this trade flatten out on the even side for both teams.

As stated before, this whole trade scenario is dependent on Kamara not wanted to play and sitting out. If that does not happen, then the team will go forward as planned. However, these are intriguing offers nonetheless.
