Michael Thomas

Another player with zero chance of not making the roster is Michael Thomas. Last year, Thomas was a Pro-Bowler, first-team All-Pro, and set an NFL record for receptions in a season with 148 surpassing Marvin Harrison at 144.

On top of that, Michael Thomas caught over 40% of Drew Brees’ passes last year. He was the only wide receiver inside of the top three in total receptions for the team. There are truly few like Michael Thomas to ever play the game.

Therefore, the New Orleans Saints wide receiving core is going to be led by Thomas next year without a doubt. They brought him in helping with the likes of ex-49er Emmanuel Sanders which should give him some relief from the defensive backs.

Nonetheless, Thomas will be a force to be reckoned with next year and for years to come. He will be the face of New Orleans for the foreseeable future. He is another player that is an absolute lock for the 53-man roster this year.
