Tramon Williams

Tramon Williams is a 5-foot-11 cornerback who has played for many teams in his career including the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Arizona Cardinals. Williams, 37, has been in the NFL since 2006 but has played at a high level ever since.

Williams has had a bit of a legendary career logging 705 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, 13 fumbles recovered, 152 passes defended, 34 interceptions, and one defensive touchdown over 199 career games played.

Even at his age, he still managed to have a more productive 2019 season than former Saints cornerback Eli Apple did.

Williams played in all 16 games in 2019 logging 39 tackles, one forced fumble, two fumbles recovered, eight passes defended, and two interceptions while only allowing two receiving touchdowns and a sub-par 57.9 completion percentage on balls thrown his way.

Tramon Williams is a former Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion and would fit well as depth in the Saints secondary. Due to his age, he would be cheap and could provide mentorship to the Saints’ young cornerbacks.
