Jordyn Brooks, Seattle Seahawks

Like Patrick Queen, Jordyn Brooks is a linebacker that the Saints could have used to strengthen the middle of the field on defense. John Brooks was one of those players that rose as the draft came closer to happening.

Brooks was an excellent selection by the Seattle Seahawks after Patrick Queen had already been taken off the board. Brooks still could have helped the Saints secure that spot in the middle that I feel will have a problem this year.

If they went with Brooks at No. 24, they also could have used that extra third-round pick they traded for not to draft a linebacker and use it on a guard that could have backed up Warford and eventually taken over for him.

Next. 5 stars the Saints can sign with Warford savings. dark

Of course, we know that this is all speculation. The fact is the New Orleans Saints went with Ruiz and released Warford and that is the way the team will move forward. Here is to another Super Bowl year in 2020.
