Number Three: Maurice Harris

Maurice Harris is a 6-foot-3 wide receiver who was signed to a futures/reserve contract by the New Orleans Saints this offseason. Harris, 27, has played in the NFL the past four years but has always been a bottom of the roster type of player.

Harris has played in 28 career games (all with the Washington Redskins) and has hauled in 40 receptions, 432 receiving yards, a yards per reception average of 10.8, and one touchdown. He has also returned the ball a few times as well as played on special teams.

Harris has never seen the field more than 45 percent of the offensive snaps during his time with the Redskins, which makes it hard to believe he will be able to see the field for the Saints.

The Saints already have the spots for Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Tre’Quan Smith, and Deonte Harris locked in and they will likely only take one or two more receivers.

With guys like Krishawn Hogan, Emmanuel Butler, Marquez Callaway, and Lil’Jordan Humphrey all competing for those final spots, it will be hard to see Maurice Harris crack the final roster.
