Everson Griffen

Last year, Everson Griffen was a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end. If you could pair current Saints end Cameron Jordan with Griffen, they will be the best two ends paired in the NFL this upcoming season.

It would give Davenport the opportunity to continue to learn and add depth to the line. Griffen, like Ryan, would be more on the expensive end, but the Saints freed up money not to just sit there but to enhance their team.

Last season, Griffen totaled one interception, he also had 2 passes defended with 41 tackles. He only had eight sacks last season, but he also had 24 hits on the quarterback and 11 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

If you put Everson Griffen with those stats next to Cameron Jordan who had 15.5 sacks, 25 hits on the quarterback, and 15 tackles for a loss, the New Orleans Saints defensive line is going to be next level scary.
