Quarterback – Drew Brees and Jameis Winston

This “battle” is for sure just a fun thing to think about.

Of course, Winston took the job to learn under Drew Brees and has no intention of trying to beat out the future Hall of Famer for his starting job this season. The real idea is who goes into the game if Brees gets hurt.

Is the competition one secretly between Hill and Winston?

However, isn’t that how Tom Brady got his starting job too. He was benched behind Drew Bledsoe in New England when Bledsoe went down with an injury and never started a game for the Patriots again that season or any other.

I am not wishing Brees to get hurt, but if he does, it could be Winston’s time to shine. I’m also not saying Jameis Winston has the potential of Tom Brady, but it would definitely be intriguing if a situation like that were to play out.

Either way, there is one thing that is certain — the New Orleans Saints depth chart is loaded. There are weapons on every side of the ball, and they should be considered heavy favorites to win the upcoming Super Bowl, even with one of the hardest schedules in the league.
