1. NFC South receivers

The wide receivers in the NFC South are a different level of talent. This division is absolutely LOADED with players like Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Curtis Samuel, and Robby Anderson.

To put into perspective just how good this division is, the top three receiving leaders of the 2019 season all played in the NFC South: Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Chris Godwin (or Mike Evans however you define the top three), respectively.

And to make things even crazier, the top-five receiving leaders through Week 15 last season were also all from the NFC South:

It seems the Saints will be facing at least one top receiver in almost every game, and it’ll be pivotal to have consistent, top cornerback play all season.

With Logan Ryan sitting on the street, this would be a perfect time to bolster the secondary with another top-flight cornerback to help defend against the best receivers in the league.
