Number One: Saints vs Bucs (Weeks 1 & 9)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have always kind of been the annoying team who really shouldn’t give the New Orleans Saints any competition but always seemingly pull off an upset or come close to it.

Now that Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are in town to help lead an exciting offense that already has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on the roster, they are a worthy matchup and a crucial opponent for the Saints in 2020.

The Saints will open the season against the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers in what should be a phenomenal game to kick off the 2020 season, similar to the Saints matchup against Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans last season on Monday Night Football.

Drew Brees will begin his farewell tour against a feisty Tampa Bay team creating an instant classic featuring two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks going head to head.

The Saints will play Tampa Bay twice during the 2020 regular season as they’re set to face them again during week 9.

It’s always an important game when you are facing your division rival, but it’s even more important when your division rival is also your biggest competition in the NFC in 2020. I fully expect these games to be amongst the best in 2020.
