S, Antoine Winfield, Jr. – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went into the draft with one of the most improved teams from last year. They had an offense full of deadly weapons. It is no surprise that the team went with an offensive lineman in the first round.

Tristan Wirfs was picked to protect the investment they made in Tom Brady. However, their second pick in the second round of the draft, they were able to secure the second-best safety on Mel Kiper’s big board.

The fact that the Buccaneers were able to add a top offensive lineman and then a top safety in rounds one and two should be nerve-wracking to any quarterback gearing up to play Winfield in the middle of the field.

The senior out of the University of Minnesota grabbed seven interceptions last season and returned one for a touchdown. He also totaled three sacks and 3.5 tackles for a loss in just 12 college games last year. He is going to be a very talented player for a second-round pick.
