Number One: Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery is a 6-foot-3, 30-year-old wide receiver who currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jeffery, a South Carolina alum, has had a solid career up to this point. Jeffery has logged two 1,000 plus-yard receiving seasons in his eight-year NFL career thus far and could be a great addition to the Saints.

More from Who Dat Dish

Jeffery has put up reliable numbers dating back to when he was a member of the Chicago Bears. Throughout his eight-year NFL career, Jeffery has hauled in 469 receptions, 6,671 receiving yards, 360 first down receptions, an average of 14.2 yards per reception, and 45 touchdowns.

Unlike some Saints, he shined even brighter in his five career playoff games. Jeffery hauled in 23 receptions, 364 yards, a 15.8 yards per reception average, and three touchdowns over five playoff games.

Jeffery has also racked up a few accolades in his NFL career including being ranked in the Top 100 Chicago Bears of all time, being named to the 2013 Pro Bowl, and winning a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jeffery would bring with him a strong, reliable, veteran presence to help mentor the young talent already in the building. He would also primarily serve as the number three wideout on the depth chart, creating ridiculous matchups that he should win.

Jeffery has struggled with some injuries in his career but his price tag should be relatively cheap. Adding a Super Bowl-winning wide receiver to an already stacked group would help the team in the long run.
