The New Orleans Saints are about to run into some salary-cap decisions in the coming months. Which veterans could become casualties of money?

According to Spotrac.com, the New Orleans Saints have roughly $3.07 million in salary cap remaining entering into the 2020 offseason. The New Orleans Saints have always been known for juggling finances like crazy.

However, they have still yet to sign any draftees.

The amount of cap left will not cover the draftees that they will need to sign before the beginning of the season. Therefore, there will need to be some cuts or trades in order to find the money to add on Cesar Ruiz, Zach Baun, Adam Trautman and Tommy Stevens.

The New Orleans Saints also just signed Jameis Winston to a one-year contract worth just over $1.0 million — that is already figured into those numbers though. Even so, they have some work to do in the next couple of months.

Because of this, there will be some New Orleans Saints veterans that will end up becoming casualties of the money crisis in New Orleans. Here are the top three veterans that will likely be playing for another team next year to clear cap space.
