Atlanta Falcons

The first comparison will go against one of the biggest rivals of the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons had a couple of key additions to next year’s team including running back Todd Gurley, edge rusher Donte Fowler, and tight end Hayden Hurst.

They also picked up cornerback A.J. Terrell in the NFL Draft as well

However, they also lost Desmond Trufant, Austin Hooper, Devonta Freeman, Vic Beasley, and De’Vondre Campbell from last year’s roster, a team that defeated the Saints in one of the two team’s two meetings.

If you just look at their additions you would think they got a whole lot better, but if you weigh in the losses they had as well, they pretty much just replaced every position they lost with an equally similar talent from elsewhere.

Therefore, I really don’t think the Falcons will be much different, even though they are really trying to be with the new horrendous looking jerseys that they will dawn next year. Look for the New Orleans Saints to win both games against the Falcons.
