Number Three: Nate Sudfeld

Nate Sudfeld is another one of those career backups who have limited NFL snaps and certainly shouldn’t be making more money than Jameis Winston, but he is.

Sudfeld is a backup signal-caller for the Philadelphia Eagles and has been the backup to Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, and now even Jalen Hurts.

He’s just the traditional backup that makes money for having a small amount of potential while working to understand the Eagles playbook for a potentially catastrophic scenario is which somehow Wentz and Hurts are both injured in 2020.

Sudfeld has completed 20 out of 25 pass attempts in his NFL career (80 percent) and has tossed 156 yards and a touchdown. Sudfeld isn’t a bad quarterback but he certainly falls into the no-name category as he’s barely played in his career.
