Number One: Nathan Peterman

Nathan Peterman has notoriously been known as one of the biggest disappointments at the quarterback position in recent years. Peterman came into the NFL as a fifth-round pick in 2017 and has seen limited action as a starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.

Peterman has completed 52.3 percent of his passes for 548 yards with a touchdown to interception ratio of three touchdowns to twelve interceptions. Peterman’s career just hasn’t quite been what people expected.

Peterman has a career passer rating of 32.5. He also notoriously tossed five interceptions in a single half against the Los Angeles Chargers in his first career NFL start, helping him set a new NFL record for interceptions thrown in an NFL starting debut.

Despite all his struggles, Peterman is still set to make a base salary of just over two million dollars which is more than Jameis Winston’s 1.1 million dollars. It’s not embarrassing given how Winston is setting himself up for success, but it is telling to what lengths he went to play in New Orleans.
