Number Two: Larry Warford

Larry Warford is a likely cut or trade candidate for the New Orleans Saints this offseason.

Warford, who turns 29 in June, has just one year left on his deal, could be replaced by the highly versatile young players who were recently brought in.

The Saints drafted Michigan center Cesar Ruiz in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft raising eyebrows that Larry Warford could be dealt or released sooner rather than later. The Ruiz pick was scrutinized yet should turn out to be one of the better first-round selections.

Ruiz is likely going to start at center for the Saints while second-year center Erik McCoy bumps over to guard to replace Warford.

It also makes more sense on why they gave Andrus Peat a five-year contract extension following an injury-plagued, sub-par season if they plan on shopping Warford out.

There will undoubtedly be a major move made on the offensive line this offseason and it could be one of the more intriguing Saints storylines heading into training camp this fall.
