Jameis Winston — UPDATED WE GOT ‘EM

Jameis Winston is a quarterback like Cam Newton, except four years younger. Last year, Winston threw for the most yards and touchdowns of any quarterback in the NFL — even though he threw the most interceptions too.

If surrounded by the right coaching staff, organization, and mentor, Winston could be a future first-team All-Pro quarterback. Sean Payton has always wanted a mobile quarterback that can laser the ball too.

Winston offers that. If somehow the New Orleans Saints can convince Winston to play for minimal money behind Brees for one year, then he is by far the greatest option of the three. It all comes down to money though.

It would be a shame if Winston wasn’t on a roster by the end of next year. Either way, the New Orleans Saints need a quarterback to fill out their roster behind Brees, and it has to be someone that is prepared to come in and play big minutes.
