Number Two: Nick Easton

Nick Easton is a 27-year-old interior offensive lineman who can play both guard and center. Easton is a backup on the Saints who rarely sees the field and could be a tradable player for the Saints to consider given his value.

The Saints could likely score a mid-round draft pick for Nick Easton as he’s still young and productive. And, to bring even a bit more optimism, the interior offensive line draft class isn’t too spectacular.

Trading him to a team like the Cardinals, Dolphins or Cowboys would make a lot of sense since the Saints likely wouldn’t use him much anyways.

Easton was originally brought in to replace Max Unger at the center position, but Erik McCoy took that role and ran with it, making the PFWA All-Rookie team in his first season.

The Saints should consider trading Nick Easton especially since they signed Andrus Peat to a five-year extension this offseason. The offensive line is returning, and Easton could be of value elsewhere.
