The New Orleans Saints enter the 2020 NFL Draft with a lot of talent and not as many picks to bring in additional prospects. How can they add more?

The New Orleans Saints have a total of five picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, but if they move the right players around, they could end up with more! After trading up in past years, the Saints have been losing trading future picks, and now it’s going to cost them.

The Saints would be smart to trade away some players of value in order to acquire more draft picks in a draft as deep as this one. They should not continue to mortgage the team’s future draft capital to move up.

This draft has the potential to be one of the best in the last few years, and New Orleans will want to capitalize on it, but looking like the NFC South’s clear best team, the Saints could thin out a few positions and trade away players that could be surefire starters on other teams.

Basically, the Saints need to give up some depth at certain positions in order to acquire more depth at other positions. The team already has a steady offensive line and could use their first-round bulk to bulk up their linebacking corp, meaning some of their solid linebackers could his the market.

That said, here are three players the Saints should trade on draft day.
