Round Four: Number 130 Overall

In the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, I have the New Orleans Saints selecting Joe Bachie Jr, a linebacker from Michigan State.

A physical linebacker, he stands 6-foot-1 and is the type of linebacker who has the ability and size to be great at the sport’s highest level. Bachie is a tackling machine and has great tackling form and natural instincts, which will both translate well to the next level.

Bachie had a great performance at the 2020 NFL Combine.

He ran a 4.67 forty yard dash, a 4.34 twenty yard shuttle, and a 6.93 three cone drill. Bachie also banged out 26 bench press reps while leaping 33.5 inches in the vertical jump and 119 inches in the broad jump.

Bachie would be a great linebacker to help the Saints add depth at the position. The Saints currently don’t have a linebacker after the 2020 season and Bachie shows all the signs of being a fierce linebacker at the next level.
