Round Three: Number 88 Overall

In the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, I have the New Orleans Saints selecting Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm.

Fromm, a 6-foot-2 signal-caller from Georgia, has the potential to be a steal in the third round of the draft. Fromm needs a little coaching on some key fundamentals, but the reward will be worth the risk if he pans out to be a Drew Brees-like pocket passer.

Fromm performed well at the 2020 NFL Combine logging a 5.01 forty yard dash, 4.51 twenty yard shuttle, and a 7.27 three cone drill.

Fromm also had a 30 inch vertical jump and a 111 inch broad jump. The Georgia star tossed over 2,800 yards last season with the Bulldogs to go along with 24 touchdowns to just five interceptions.

Jake Fromm would be a great fit in the big easy under the coaching of Sean Payton and Drew Brees. Fromm has all the tools to perform at a high level and he could end up being Drew Brees’ replacement if all goes well.
