Round One: Number 24 Overall

In the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, I have the New Orleans Saints selecting LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton.

Fulton is a six-foot-tall cornerback who can play physical in both man and zone coverages. At this point in the mock draft, both major linebackers Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen were off the board, so I had the team addressing their next major need.

Kristian Fulton performed well at the 2020 NFL Combine logging 4.46 forty yard dash, a 4.36 twenty yard shuttle, and a 6.94 three cone drill. Fulton also had a 35.5 inch vertical jump to go with his 123 inch broad jump.

Kristian Fulton would add a physical factor to the New Orleans secondary and could be a great number three option behind Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins. Fulton would be a great option if Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen are unavailable.
