New Orleans Saints: Full 2020 NFL Draft first round simulation
In the upcoming NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints do not pick near the top, in fact, they are at the bottom leaving a lot of uncertainty on who will be available at that pick.
Pro Football Focus has created a 2020 NFL Draft mock simulator. The New Orleans Saints pick at the No. 24 position in the first round. We wanted to see who would potentially be off of the board for the Saints at that pick.
Below you will find what the simulator selected for picks No. 1 through No. 23 leading up to where the Saints pick at No. 24. However, it never truly plays out like this as trades will likely occur and managers will not always take the obvious choice.
That said, here is how the first round of the NFL Draft went.

Knowing now who is off the board for the New Orleans Saints at the No. 24 pick in the draft, as a New Orleans Saints fan, who are you drafting? Post your personal opinion for the selection in the comments of the article.
Let’s face it, the way the draft played out in the first 23 picks was odd. It left players like Patrick Queen, A.J. Epenesa, Justin Herbert, Denzel Mims, Brandon Aiyuk, and K’Lavon Chaisson were still left on the board with this pick.
The likelihood of that happen is near none, but to keep the integrity of our mock simulation, we went with it. With the 24th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Kenneth Murray, Linebacker, Oklahoma University.
The New Orleans Saints have no glaring need on their team so they are at a best available kind of scenario. Murray would add immediate depth and talent to a linebacking core that is very often underperformed and injured.
Also, it’s key to note the bulk of the Saints’ linebackers will become free agents this next offseason. Murray or Queen, whichever is chosen, would add solid depth to the position.
Who would you draft?
