Jordan Love, Utah State

Zach Buckley, Bleacher Report

After a free agency period where the New Orleans Saints went and signed a lot of weapons, there are few immediate holes that need to be filled. The biggest one might not even be the present-day Saints need but a future one.

Drew Brees re-signed on a two-year deal with the Saints. However, it is looking more and more likely that the one-year option in that contract will allow him to retire at the end of this year, per sources like Sean Payton.

That would mean that the New Orleans Saints need to find a replacement, and they need to do so quickly. With the limited budget that the Saints are working with, the best scenario to find a replacement is the draft.

That is why Buckley has the Saints selected Utah State quarterback, Jordan Love with the No. 24 pick in the draft. Many drafts don’t even have him falling this much so we will have to see where he ends up come draft day.
