Number Three: Ronald Darby

Ronald Darby is a 5-foot-11, 193-pound cornerback who now plays for the Washington Redskins. Darby has spent most of his career with the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles but became a free agent this offseason and signed with the Redskins.

Darby is one of the most underrated cornerbacks in the NFL as he is always seemingly making plays on the ball and can cover well too. Darby has 251 career tackles, 65 career passes defended, and eight career interceptions.

The Saints need some depth at the cornerback position and Ronald Darby would have given them cheap talent. However, they went with PJ Williams, Patrick Robinson and Janoris Jenkins to round out the team’s depth behind superstar cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

Expect the Saints to address cornerback in the coming NFL Draft as well.

Again, the Saints had a stellar offseason, and although these players may have made it a bit better, they still expect to enter next season as one of the top Super Bowl contenders.
