Anthony Gordon: Washington State University

Anthony Gordon is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal-caller who played his college football at Washington State University.

Gordon only started one season with the Cougars, but in that one season, he did not disappoint. Gordon completed 71.6 percent of his passes for 5,579 yards. He also tossed 48 touchdowns and only 16 interceptions.

Gordon led the extremely talented PAC-12 quarterback class in passing yards, passing touchdowns, pass efficiency, pass completions, pass attempts, and total plays. Gordon also led the NCAA in pass completions, pass attempts, and total plays.

Anthony Gordon doesn’t receive as much recognition as he should.

If Gordon would have started two years at Washington State with these numbers he would probably be a top-four quarterback in the draft. Selecting Gordon does come with a risk but he will have the leisure of learning under Drew Brees and Sean Payton who offer so much necessary expertise.

Anthony Gordon should be available in the fifth or sixth round and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Saints snag the former Washington State star.
