The New Orleans have addressed their major needs in the offseason, except for the most important of them all — the future of the franchise.

The New Orleans Saints are in an interesting situation heading into the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Saints already addressed their need at the wide receiver spot by bringing in veteran Emmanuel Sanders.

It has also been rumored by Saints head coach Sean Payton that 2020 will be Drew Brees’ final season. Whether that is factual or not will be left up to Brees and Payton did clarify his comments, but the facts still remain that this could likely be his last run with New Orleans.

The Saints are in an excellent position to win now before major contracts expire (Demario Davis, Alvin Kamara, and Marcus Williams) but also need to be in a position to gear up for the future. You do by that drafting talent that will develop nicely in the coming seasons.

The New Orleans Saints need to draft the future of the team in this year’s NFL Draft, including the quarterback position. Here are five quarterbacks the Saints should look to draft in the later rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.
