K’Lavon Chaisson, LB, LSU

K’Lavon Chaisson would be another first-round jump up to No. 17 where the Dallas Cowboys are picking at. Chaisson would be a great addition to the defensive line opposite of Cameron Jordan and behind Marcus Davenport.

It is no secret that Davenport is injury prone and Jordan is getting older with every season that passes by. The New Orleans Saints are going to need to find a replacement sooner or later, and Chaisson could be that answer.

In his senior season with the champion Tigers, Chaisson totaled 60 tackles with 13.5 of them being for a loss. He also added on 6.5 sacks and two passes defended in 13 games on a team where the defense wasn’t on the field much.

If we could trade just a couple picks up to acquire Chaisson, he could be insurance for Davenport and a potential replacement down the road for Jordan. K’Lavon Chaisson is everything you could want in a defensive end.
