Laviska Shenault, Jr.

Shenault, Jr. is also a junior entering the NFL Draft early. He finished his 2019 campaign with 56 receptions for 736 yards and four touchdowns. In comparison to Jefferson, Shenault’s numbers look absolutely pathetic.

However, when you look at the yards per catch they are actually very similar. The biggest difference is that Jefferson played with the best quarterback in the nation on the best team in the nation and Shenault played for Colorado.

Laviska Shenault might just be the late first-round steal of the draft. He is just as big as Jefferson standing at almost 6’1″. The biggest pro about Shenault is his hands. He is not afraid to go up and get the ball away from his body.

The keys to watch for on Thursday will be his route-running and exiting, as well as his angles. He has good speed, but he needs to work on polishing his route-running and then the options when he releases out of his routes.
