Jeff Gladney, DB, TCU

Jeff Gladney is probably the cornerback in this draft class that you have never heard of. This dynamic redshirt senior has used all of his college football careers to better himself and his game. Every facet of the role of a cornerback Jeff Gladney personifies.

He is extremely athletic and is not afraid to tackle in the run game. He reads routes well and understands the leverage he has and how to get a high one. He breaks fast on the ball out of routes and uses his vision to read the play.

The biggest compromise to Gladney’s game is that he can be better at taking advantage of the offensive mistakes. He reads them well, but he needs to be better on acting on those reads. He needs to clean up his physicality on the downfield run too.
