Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

Justin Jefferson was an electric receiver for the national champion Louisiana State Tigers this year. He led the team in receptions, yards, and touchdowns for the Tigers with the Heisman Trophy winner as his quarterback.

The junior finished his 2019 campaign with 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in only 15 games. He has put his name in conversation with some of the best receivers to come out of the class this year.

His explosive speed and 6-foot-3 frame make him a nightmare for defensive backs to cover downfield. If Jefferson gets a step ahead of you, you can forget about intercepting the ball. He is also a very physical receiver which is sometimes a downfall.

The keys to watch for Jefferson will be his speed and quickness coming in and out of running routes. The Saints will need a receiver to has a quick change of pace and a high acceleration rate running downhill.
