Alvin Kamara: 2017, #67 Overall

Alvin Kamara was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2017 as a running back to help lift some of the weight off the shoulders of Mark Ingram.

Kamara instantly took over and became one of the most elusive running backs the NFL had seen in New Orleans since Reggie Bush lined up in the backfield.

Kamara wasted no time seeing the field as a rookie, putting together a terrific season and ending the season as a member of the PFWA All-Rookie team, second-team All-Pro team, and winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Kamara also went to the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2017 and hasn’t missed a Pro Bowl since.

The three-time Pro Bowler has played in 45 games logging 485 carries, 2,408 rushing yards, 27 rushing touchdowns, 243 receptions, 2,068 receiving yards, ten receiving touchdowns, and one kick return touchdown all in just three years.

Alvin Kamara has played most of his games with some sort of injury but often times plays through it. Kamara was an absolute home run for the New Orleans Saints in the third round, and they haven’t second-guessed themselves one time for drafting Alvin Kamara.

They’ll have to pay him soon which will be an interesting development to continue to monitor.
