Allen Robinson

The Chicago Bears are not in a position to use Allen Robinson to the fullest. Robinson is already at the peak of his career and the window is closing fast. They could much rather use a receiver like Tre’Quan Smith.

He is someone young enough that they can take and mold into one of their own for Trubisky or Foles whichever ends up being the starting quarterback. The New Orleans Saints, on the other hand, are trying to win now.

Drew Brees only has one, maybe two, seasons left in the NFL. If the Saints want to win now, they are going to have to give him those weapons. They already signed Emmanuel Sanders this offseason, but another top talent receiver wouldn’t hurt.

Last season with the horrendous Bears, Robinson totaled 98 receptions for 1,147 yard and seven touchdowns. That looks good, but Robinson has the potential to be so much better. Giving up Smtih and a fourth-round pick for him is a no brainer.
