The New Orleans Saints have had several players wear the No.19, but only a select few played well enough in the black and gold to make my top three list.

In order to make a top three list, not only do you have to play well, but you also have to carry yourself well and leave a lasting impact on the game of football and the organization in which you played for. Obviously, in this scenario, the organization is the New Orleans Saints.

As much as having great statistical numbers help your case, it’s not always about that. Sometimes all a player needs to do is work their tail off day after day and strive to be better and strive to make their teammates better too.

While titles and divisional banners matter, longevity and dedication to the team also matter. Combine all that together, and that’s how we came up with the top players to have worn a specific number list.

A little veteran leadership or an A-Plus personality can help leave a lasting impact on everyone, and that’s important as well. That said, here are my top three players in New Orleans Saints history to wear the number 19.
