New Orleans Saints need a quarterback.

There is no doubt in any New Orleans Saints mind that Taysom Hill is not a magnificent player deserving of the high praise he gets. However, he is not a suitable candidate for the backup quarterback role to go in full time.

Last year, the New Orleans Saints had Teddy Bridgewater. This year, they don’t; therefore, they need someone like Bridgewater to step in and fill that role. No better person than a starting quarterback talent that can’t find a starting role.

The New Orleans Saints need Cam Newton as much as it is the other way around and because of that, they are a perfect match for each other.

The biggest question is going to be whether Newton is going to take the money that is available to become a backup quarterback. Either that or he takes the most money and goes to a garbage team to end his career.
