P.J. Williams

P.J. Williams is a fourth-year cornerback coming off of his rookie contract. Throughout four years in New Orleans, Williams started 23 games but played in nearly all of them. Williams is not your highlight cornerback, but he gets the job done.

The biggest downfall for Williams is that the New Orleans Saints signed Janoris Jenkins at the end of the last year and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson has taken on the role of slot corner after his breakout rookie year in the position.

P.J. Williams has been a career-backup thus far. With the new addition of former XFL star cornerback Nichols, P.J. Williams now becomes the fifth-best cornerback that the Saints currently roster at the moment.

Williams has become expendable to the Saints. Because of that, the cornerback needs to find a new home. His best chance of success going forward would be starting with a team that needs a cornerback.
