Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders was the saving grace in most New Orleans Saints’ fans’ minds. The ex-Bronco went to the NFC rival San Francisco 49ers last year in a trade mid-season. He thrived in San Francisco, but his contract was up at the end of the year.

After making it all the way to the Super Bowl and losing, Sanders decided it was time for a new journey with a new team. The New Orleans Saints, on the other hand, spent all last year wallowing in sorrow that they needed another wide receiver.

Emmanuel Sanders was arguably the best receiver on the market this year. He has the leadership and experience that is needed to come in and be  No. 2 receiver to Thomas. Sanders has been a No. 1 receiver for the majority of his career.

For the New Orleans Saints to go from having one wide receiver to have two No. 1 caliber receivers is stunning. The football world was put on watch when this signing was announced late last Friday. Again, this is part of what is making the team Super Bowl favorites.
