Paul Richardson

One of the biggest waves the Saints made throughout free agency was the signing of ex-Niner Emmanuel Sanders. The Saints needed a wide receiver and Sanders gave them one of the best available this year.

However, even with the signing of Sanders, one wide receiver is not going to fix the receiving core problems as a whole. Another receiver that is used to being a slot or No. 3 receiver would fit in perfectly with the Saints.

Paul Richardson would fit in that spot. Richardson made a name for himself last year with the Redskins. Throughout his time with the Seahawks and Redskins, Richardson averaged about 20+ receptions each year.

Throughout this time, that is exactly what the Saints need. Thomas caught over 140 receptions. The New Orleans Saints fixed many problems so far this offseason. However, some can continue to be strengthened through these signings.
