Mychal Kendricks

Mychal Kendricks spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kendricks is a linebacker and one of the best at his position over that timeframe. Kendricks could add to the linebacking core of the Saints that could use the help.

In six years with the Eagles, Kendricks had almost 500 tackles. He added three interceptions, 25 passes defended, six forced fumbles, and five recoveries. Kendricks was then signed by Seattle Seahawks, one of the deadliest defenses in the NFL.

During his two years with the Seahawks, he only started 17 games in two years. For the majority of his first year with the team, he was injured. Because of that, his stats took a hit and his market value deflated.

That makes him the perfect candidate for the New Orleans Saints. For the majority of last year, the Saints saw several linebackers injured. Kendricks would help either in the starting lineup or help be an insurance policy to the starters.
