Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs was not a free agent this year, but there was plenty of buzz surrounding the Vikings star that he was not happy in Minnesota and actively requesting that they trade him. Well, they did just as he wished.

The New Orleans Saints are in desperate need of another wide receiver to complement Michael Thomas. This should have been a move that the Saints should have made and pursued after, but they let this opportunity pass as well.

The Minnesota Vikings traded Stefon Diggs and a seventh-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for a first-round pick, a fifth-round pick, and a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Diggs would have been a perfect addition in New Orleans. He was already used to playing in the No. 2 role in Minnesota with Adam Thelien there as well. The lack of urgency by the Saints might come back to bite them.
