Randall Cobb

Another asset that the New Orleans Saints have been rumored to desire is another Dallas Cowboys wide receiver. Randall Cobb was a free agent this year. He was one of the less desirable wide receivers that can still produce.

The perk of Cobb was that he was not going to cost the New Orleans Saints a lot of money. Because they are already pushed to the max on the cap, money is a huge issue when it comes to who the Saints can target after.

After trading away DeAndre Hopkins, the Houston Texans went on the search for a replacement. They found that replacement in Cobb. They even got the ex-Cowboy for less than $10 million per year which is great!

The New Orleans Saints missed out on a huge opportunity in this receiver. He has been a No. 2 for most of his career. Most likely, he would have been a huge asset to the New Orleans Saints and added to the offensive weapons for Brees.
