Number Three: Anthony Gordon

Anthony Gordon is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback from Washington State University. Gordon was selected for the 2019 Pac-12 second team in 2019 after being the starting quarterback for the first time.

Gordon only started one season in college and he took full advantage of the situation. The pro-style quarterback completed 71.6 percent of his passes for 5,579 yards with a touchdown to interception ratio of 48 to 16.

Despite his lack of experience, Gordon led the NCAA is total plays with 740, pass attempts with 689, and pass completions with 493. He also led the Pac-12 in those categories as well as total yardage, touchdown passes, passing yards, and touchdowns responsible for.

Gordon has been projected to go anywhere from the third round to being undrafted all together due to his lack of experience.

The talent is all there and I believe he could be a prolific quarterback at the NFL level. Sean Payton’s next project could be the California kid with one year of college starting experience under his belt.
