Quarterback, James Morgan

James Morgan is a 6-foot-4 inch quarterback from Florida International University.

Morgan, 23, holds numerous school records at Florida International and has won over 20 awards in his two years with the school. Prior to his time with the Florida International Panthers, Morgan strapped up for the Bowling Green Falcons.

More from Who Dat Dish

Morgan was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.89 seconds, the L-Cone in 7.51 seconds, and the 20-yard shuttle in 4.64 seconds. Morgan also logged a 29-inch vertical jump and had a 9-foot-4 inch broad jump.

Morgan worked out and interviewed with the New Orleans Saints following the combine and both sides seem to have mutual interest. Morgan was pretty shaky to start his college career but developed nicely following his transfer to Florida International.

In his collegiate career, Morgan completed 57 percent of his passes for 8,654 yards with a touchdown to interception ratio of 65 to 34. In his two seasons at Florida International, Morgan completed a solid 61.5 percent of his passes for 5,312 yards with a touchdown to interception ratio of 43 to 12.

If James Morgan can touch up his polish and his decision making, he could be a great sleeper pick for the New Orleans Saints to consider in the later rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.
