Philadelphia Eagles, WR, Alshon Jeffery

It is no secret that the New Orleans Saints need a wide receiver to complement the superstar Michael Thomas that they already have. Speculation has surrounded where they will find just the right guy to complete the duo.

Draft? Free Agency? Trade? Alshon Jeffery could be the solution and Philadelphia might be willing to part with the eight-year wide receiver. Last year, Jeffery totaled his lowest numbers in his career since his rookie season.

Jeffery only caught 43 balls for 490 yards and four touchdowns. He also played mostly with a backup quarterback, and he only played a total of 10 games last season for the Eagles. They might just be willing to part with him for the right price.

A current year’s four-round and sixth-round pick should be the leverage the Eagles need to pull the trigger and send Jeffery to the Saints. He would be a welcomed addition to the black and gold and provide a light in the receiving core.
