Number One: Demario Davis

Demario Davis inked a three year deal with the New Orleans Saints following a stint with the New York Jets twice and Cleveland Browns once.

Davis has been on the Saints since 2018 and instantly became the best linebacker the team has had since Jonathan Vilma. In just two years with the Black and Gold, Davis racked up 221 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss, nine sacks, and one interception.

Davis became a defensive captain instantly for the Saints and his dominant 90.1 Pro Football Focus grade helped him secure a First-Team All-Pro award in 2019.

When Drew Brees missed five games with a thumb injury in 2019, Davis stepped up and became the team’s motivational leader by leading the team in pre-game talks and huddles.
