Number Three: Larry Warford

Larry Warford was signed by the Saints during the 2017 offseason after spending his first four seasons with the Detroit Lions.

Warford is an offensive guard and has made the Pro Bowl each of his previous three years with the New Orleans Saints. Warford has been as reliable and durable as they come, only missing four games over the previous three seasons.

He has played 2,775 snaps in the black and gold, allowing just four sacks and being flagged for a penalty just twelve times in his three-year span with the team. Warford isn’t slated to become a free agent until 2021 and will hopefully look to continue his success in New Orleans.

Warford is a huge reason why the Saints have a dominant record in his tenure (37-11) and has kept the aging Drew Brees healthy and continuing to play at a high level.

Offensive linemen never receive the credit they truly deserve, but three Pro Bowls in three years is nothing to disregard.

Warford transformed himself into one of the NFL’s best offensive guards during his tenure in New Orleans and ranks as the third-best free-agent signing the Saints have made in the last five years.
