George Kittle, TE, Iowa

The New Orleans Saints originally drafted Trey Hendrickson with the 103rd pick. This pick came to the Saints in a trade with the Patriots from the Browns as a compensatory pick. The replacement pick for Hendrickson is George Kittle.

Kittle quickly rose with the San Francisco 49ers to one of the best tight ends in the game. In fact, Kittle was one game away from winning the Super Bowl this year with the Niners. The strong tight-end was probably the biggest steal of the draft.

The 49ers drafted him with the 146th pick. Forty-three picks behind where the Saints originally drafted Hendrickson. Kittle would have offered Drew Brees another extremely talented weapon on offense to go alongside Smith-Schuster and Thomas.

In three years, Kittle has caught 216 passes for almost 3,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. That also basically comes in two years as he only started seven games in his rookie season. Kittle could have been the tight end that the Saints always needed.
