Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin

The New Orleans Saints gained this pick in a deal with the New England Patriots. This pick marked their second in the first round which is a rare commodity among NFL teams and the Saints needed to use it to the fullest.

After looking over round two and knowing what came with Alvin Kamara is round three, I can honestly say, I think the Saints picked exactly who they needed to with this selection. He has been a force on the line every game since.

Ramczyk has not missed a start in a single game since joining the team in 2017. The only other offensive tackle drafted that high was Cam Robinson who is now with the Jacksonville Jaguars and he has gone through some injury concerns over his three years.

Besides for Robinson, the Saints also passed up on safety Budda Baker, offensive lineman Forrest Lamp, and running back Dalvin Cook. However, knowing Kamara now, I would rather have Ramczyk and Kamara over Cook.
